Patriots quarterback and Captain, Tom Brady publicly stated James White should have won the MVP award-and apparently Ford agreed.

It's not that Brady didn't want to give White a truck - he gave Malcolm Butler his two years ago - it's that the National Football League doesn't do that anymore.

People helping people. It's powerful stuff.

The Patriots' eight-play, 75-yard drive in overtime ended with White's game-ending, 2-yard touchdown run. That changed after Super Bowl XLIX, when Brady also won the award and a truck, one that he didn't keep (more on that in a minute).

White is one of the most well-liked players on the Patriots because of his understated, soft-spoken approach.

Freezing rain warning in Tuesday's mixed bag of weather
She said it will be a mainly rain event for the city with a high of 5 C and windy conditions. The freezing rain will change to rain around 3 p.m. and continue until 9 p.m., Taylor said.

O'Brien, a MA native, presented White with the truck as the audience roared.

"I wouldn't get 14 catches if he wasn't throwing me the ball", White told O'Brien.

However, he thought James White was actually deserving of the gift that came along with winning the award.

Enter O'Brien, a New England native, who invited White on his TV show and shocked him by presenting him a Ford F-150 as audience members roared with approval. "He's our leader. He's the reason we fought back into that game".
