Fans who were awaiting the launch of the Mi 5's successor - the Xiaomi Mi 6 - were undoubtedly disappointed by this news.

Made in collaboration with French designer Philippe Stark, the Xiaomi Mi Mix first made its appearance as a concept phone.

While the smartphone may not be debuting at the MWC, tech buffs will be pleased to learn that new images of the Xiaomi Mi 6 have now surfaced online, offering a peek into the impending handset.

Like always, we advise you to take this rumour with a pinch of salt. The design, although different, doesn't match with any of the previous leaks.

Mnuchin: No decision yet on labeling China a currency manipulator
But if the company exports its products, the profits from those exports would not be taxed by the United states. Administration officials are talking to business leaders about the proposed tax, Mnuchin said.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX was unveiled past year and made available for purchase only in China, but of course, you can get it shipped to your home via a number of online platforms, but make sure you confirm with your local carrier to avoid ending up with a device that probably doesn't support LTE connectivity in your region.

According to GizmoChina, the leaked Mi 6 images show the device running MIUI. The device shows an absence of physical home button and other buttons under the display on the front panel. With that in mind, it might be a few weeks before we learn what other new markets the Mi MIX will be available in besides the UAE. Thus, Xiaomi now plans to emulate the same success on a global scale with the roll out of Mi Mix outside of China. Furthermore, his post says that the front camera will come with Sony IMX268 8megapixel autofocus sensor which is the same one in the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The rear camera on the Mi Mix is a 16MP unit with phase detection autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture lens, and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). This year it could be the Mi 6.

Mi Mix runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35 Ghz. Both the variants are said to feature OLED panels with 2K resolution. The phone's white colored variant was recently revealed at the CES 2017, while a China only black colored model is available in two variants - 4GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 34,500), and 6GB RAM with 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 39,500). The screen size of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 seems to be ranging from 5.2 to 5.5 inches.
