Police Chief Michael Chitwood, from Upper Darby Police Department, said, "It's every parent's worst nightmare that sends their kid to daycare".

Sarah Gable was recently charged for allegedly pushing a four-year-old girl down some stairs at the Child Care of the Future daycare center in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, on March 3 (video below). We don't treat children here like that.

Gable, however, is now out on bail and is facing charges of simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

The CCTV video captured her looking up and noticing the camera, after which she pulled up the child and dragged her away. It just hurt me. When I saw it air I was just like wow. According to multiple reports, workers in the daycare had installed the camera only minutes before the alleged assault took place. "The little girl was just really shaken up. Why would you push a child down the steps.' And the way she did it was just so carelessly as if she'd been doing it", said Shawayne Tavares, the daycare administrator who was monitoring the new camera.

"I was so upset". "She picked up the shoe and tried to come to the end of the stairs like, "Oh, it was her shoe" that caused her to fall".

She said Gable had been working at the site since June 2015 and had passed all background checks. "You don't put your hands on a child".

According to a report by Daily Mail, Gable has been released on bail of United States dollars 25,000.

The 4-year old girl suffered a knee injury but went back to day care the next morning.

Gable was sacked from the day care and arrested though she is now out on bail.
