Cespedes was replaced in the top of the sixth inning of the Mets' 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Cespedes, who signed a four-year, $110 million deal in the offseason, is hitting.263 with six home runs and 10 RBIs in 16 games this season.

On Thursday, Mets manager Terry Collins announced that Lucas Duda and Wilmer Flores are out and do not have a set timetable for a possible return, per Newsday's Laura Albanese.

New York Mets leftfielder Yoenis Cespedes will undergo an MRI on his left hamstring that was injured during Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Flores, is in the hospital through the weekend getting IV treatments for a staph infection in his knee.

Flores spent Wednesday evening in a NY hospital because of his knee infection.

US home sales rise shoot up to 10-year high
Existing-home sales in the South rose 3.4% in March to an annual rate of 2.42 million and are 8.5% higher than March 2016 sales. Sales hit a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.71 million last month from a downwardly revised 5.47 million in February.

Hamstring cramps can sure be tricky, and Cespedes will most likely get a day or two off to rest it, but it has to give the Mets a sigh of relief.

Per Steve Gelbs of SportsNet New York, Cespedes was removed after pulling up running between first and second base and then "limped off the field and down into the tunnel".

Collins said it "has not been determined" how many days Cespedes would miss. Familia completed a 15-game suspension Thursday for an offseason domestic violence incident involving his wife.

The Nationals may also be at less than 100 percent for at least the start of the series. Catcher Travis d'Arnaud has a bruised wrist and can't throw a baseball. DeGrom is 0-0 in three starts this season despite a 1.89 ERA. Pitcher Steven Matz (left elbow inflammation), pitcher Seth Lugo (right elbow inflammation) and outfielder Brandon Nimmo (right hamstring strain) are also on the 10-day DL and third baseman David Wright (cervical disc herniation) is on the 60-day DL.

Flores is a career.254 hitter in five seasons with the Mets.
