All classes and events on campus were canceled as police investigated, but are set to resume Tuesday.

On Monday, 20-year-old student Kendrex J. White allegedly attacked four people on the University of Texas at Austin campus, leaving one dead and three injured, according to ABC.

A student who said he knows White socially, William Verastegui, said the suspect had always seemed friendly.

"This was not a conspiracy". "He was armed with a large, Bowie-style hunting knife".

He was a member of Graham High School's graduating class of 2016.

The first person attacked was one of several students gathered around a popular Austin food truck around 2 p.m.at the plaza outside Gregory Gym, one of the busiest areas on the 431-acre campus.

"The guy was standing next to me", Prichett said. The slash victim grabs the back of his neck and yells (people look at him and I await some sort of "gotcha" statement). Counseling and support services are available in the Student Activity Center or by calling 512-475-6628. White complied with an order to get down on the ground and was taken into custody without incident. Even more intriguing, KXAN reports that an eyewitness claimed that Kendrex White attacked a sorority girl before stabbing his victims. White is suspected of stabbing four UT students Monday, one of them fatally.

White walked into a dormitory still holding the knife in his hand but did not attack anyone else before he was apprehended.

"I am too scared to leave my apartment", communications senior Erin Gust said in an open letter to Fenves.

Turkey's Erdogan to rejoin ruling party after referendum win
He is expected to chair the ruling party as well. "It's like making Fenerbahce's captain the referee of a Fenerbahce game". Yıldırım confirmed that Erdoğan will also be reinstalled as party chairman on 21 May at an extraordinary AKP congress.

Police said they are not aware that White has connections to any terror group.

White, a biology major in the College of Natural Science, was removed from the school's student directory soon after the attack.

He regularly volunteered at Real Role Models, a student organization that volunteered at elementary school. "I'm definitely surprised he would do this", Kay'Lynn Wilkerson told the Killeen Daily Herald.

Former high school classmate Angela Bonilla now attends UT.

Student Ray Arredondo was walking to his auto, he said, when panicked people began running toward him.

"He was just walking around with a knife, so no one even noticed when he hit that first guy, I guess, because no one was screaming".

Guerri, who witnessed the stabbing with Garza, said she's been thinking about the incident a lot since it happened on Monday afternoon.

The three students with serious injuries were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge, where they are now being treated. The district said in a statement that Brown "was an inspiration to everyone around him". Witnesses described the suspect as eerily composed during the episode near Gregory Gymnasium, and said that when he was confronted by police officers at gunpoint, he did not resist, speak nor appear to hurry.
