Senior AAP leader Satyendar Jain will file a defamation suit against sacked party member Kapil Mishra for levelling "baseless" allegations of corruption, an official close to the Delhi minister said today.

Mishra, who was Delhi's water resources minister before being sacked, had sided with another top leader Kumar Vishwas in his fight with Kejriwal before the two called truce.

Mishra had informed Lt Governor Anil Baijal about the issue and is also ready to provide details to investigating agencies.

Earlier, Kapil Mishra a former minister in Delhi Government, created a political storm by alleging Kejriwal of receiving Rs 2 crore bribe from fellow minister Satyender Jain.

Mishra said he may have been axed for saying he would submit the names of those people involved in the tanker scam to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). He also alleged that the CM told him "these things happen in politics".Mishra was sacked from Kejriwal's cabinet on Saturday in a reshuffle and was replaced by Kailash Gahlot. "The BJP is hatching a conspiracy against the AAP through Mishra", Singh told reporters here.

Mishra also launched a scathing attack on the AAP leadership for making allegations that he was colluding with the BJP.

Kejriwal should follow the examples of politicians who resigned in the wake of allegations levelled against them, she said.
