LED headlights and LED fog lamps as standard as well as new options for all model variants of the BMW 3 Series Sedan and the BMW 3 Series Touring.

On the outside, the 2 Series gets new bi-LED headlights as standard, while available as an option are bi-LED adaptive headlights. Rounding off the novelties on the outside are three new colours (Sunset Orange, Seaside Blue, Mediterranean Blue), and four sets of alloy wheels (two measuring 17 inches and the other two 18 inches).

As Autoblog reports, BMW is already testing a new coupe that seems to be either a new 6 Series or possibly a beefed up 8 Series. The German automaker is planning to augment its coupe range upward in size and price with a resurrected 8-series model, and it has finally given us an official peek at what that two-door will look like.

This variant of the 5-Series comes with BMW's M-Sport package, which comprises a sporty body kit, adaptive suspension and a host of extra features that make the vehicle more fun to drive.

Our objective is to reach the final and we'll have to be at our best. "We must keep playing good football the way we know". We are the opposite, physically we are very strong and that is good news for the end of the season, he said ominously.

The upcoming 8 Series certainly has big shoes to fill - and not just as a viable competitor to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupe.

The updated 2 Series coupé and convertible will be available to order in South Africa from late July or early August, with first deliveries planned for September 2017. Look for the updated 2 Series in showrooms later this summer.

The digital cockpit features a new navigation system and is compatible with Apple CarPlay. With its available V-12 engine, the 8-Series was almost a supercar in terms of its performance. The various model variants channel their power through either a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. BMW will reportedly call its successor to the 5-Series GT, the 6-Series GT.
