Two people were shot and killed on a Chicago freeway in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide.

The Chicago Tribune reports (http://trib.in/2sApXKA ) Lisa Fisher of Broadview and Christopher M. Pena of Chicago were arguing as they traveled on the Chicago Skyway around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday. While the vehicle was still moving, the man allegedly jumped out and started shooting at the woman. The vehicle then crashed into a median separating the eastbound lanes from the westbound lanes, police said.

The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Pena, 30, got out of the auto while it was still moving, and fired several shots at Fischer, striking her in the body.
