Missing out on Tiemoue Bakayoko would be disastrous — Chelsea

Manchester United are being tipped to deal Chelsea another huge blow in the transfer market this summer after the latest gossip claims that the Old Trafford club have 'agreed a fee' with Monaco for midfield enforcer Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The Red Devils confirmed the news via a statement on the club's website on Sunday, and executive vice-chairman Woodward had a message for Manchester United fans after the deal was announced. I'm excited, I cannot wait to meet the lads, get on the training pitch and then get on the pitch to play.

So Bakayoko is desperately wanted at both clubs, but it looks like Mourinho has moved ahead of Conte for this one.

Hopefully nobody held their breath, because it's now July 10th and Bakayoko hasn't arrived.

If true, the player will suddenly have a decision to make over which Premier League club he wants to join.

It has been 10 days of silence from the club on that front, seemingly with the possibility that the unexpected delay has now opened the door for United to swoop in at the 11th hour. No greater example of this sums it up better than the see-sawing of targets between Chelsea and Man United. The Real Betis youngster shone at the U21 Euros for Spain, who lost 1-0 in the final to Germany. That is transfer speak for 'move on'.

Trade grades: Who wins Pacers-Raptors deal for Joseph and Miles?
Over two seasons with Toronto, the 30-year-old averaged 9.4 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, and one assist in 98 games played. At a minimum, getting the 2018 first and second round picks makes this all worthwhile, earning the Nets a B+ trade grade.

The Premier League champions have been left frustrated in the transfer window so far with regards to their targets but it seems they could soon close out the deal for Bakayoko. According to the Daily Mail, Ronald Koeman has now set his sights on purchasing Swansea talisman Gylfi Sigurdsson. That's about how long it takes for home and bed to feel as they should and to get your sleep cycle in order.

He'll want more than that and there will be some fiddling but we're not going more than £2-4 million higher than that. Read into that what you will.

Manchester United have reportedly shifted their attention to Tottenham midfielder, Eric Dier as they concede that Chelsea will not want to sell Nemanja Matic to us following the Romelu Lukaku's debacle.

It's been a summer of lavish spending at Goodison Park and despite managing to bring back Wayne Rooney, Everton are showing no signs of stopping.
