McGregor: I'll knock out Mayweather inside four rounds

One day after Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. shared a stage to promote their August 26 boxing match, the two will be at it again.

A close-up of the Dublin fighter's suit revealed "f*** you" written along the immaculate pinstripes.

More importantly, though, are questions about the formats of the remaining press conferences.

Mayweather remained calm throughout McGregor's tirade of verbal jabs, nodding his head and appearing close to boredom.

"The reason he has accepted this fight to come out of retirement is because he has to", McGregor said.

McGregor is well-known for his confidence -bordering on arrogance- and running his mouth, but Tuesday's show was a new level of insult handed out to his opponent.

"He's in an (expletive) track suit".

First and foremost, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe announced tickets for the fight will go on sale on July 24th and will cost between $500 to $10,000. When McGregor interrupted Mayweather's turn for a speech, his microphone was cut. He is the biggest pay-per-view draw in MMA history and is known for his lavish lifestyle and trash talking. He was previously the UFC Featherweight Champion and he has earned a spot on Forbes' list of the world's highest paid athletes, making him the first mixed martial artist to do so.

'You turned up in a f***ing tracksuit!' yelled McGregor, before asking Floyd in a close-up moment if he even owned a three-piece these days.

McGregor responded by telling him that he would knock out Mayweather within four rounds while taking some personal shots at the boxing legend.

"I just don't think he's ever seen anything like this, " McGregor said.

"I've watched a lot of Conor McGregor's press conferences and stuff, not just for the comical factor I guess, but more mentally he is so strong".

The next stop on the tour will be in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday where I'm sure we will see more fireworks between the two.

The profane insults and the posturing that normally can be enjoyed only in your better prison exercise yards are bound to be more entertaining than the August 26 fight itself.

"How's this suit look?" he laughed. "I wouldn't count McGregor out anymore", Roach says.

And the beginning of their press tour gave them an opportunity to meet face-to-face in public for the first time, which they did at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Knowing McGregor's brashness and smarts, we can expect something equally outlandish in the future.
