Kate Middleton Wins Over Warsaw in Alexander McQueen's LWD

Despite all eyes being on George and Charlotte, it was hard to ignore the duchess' incredible outfit by one of her go-to designers, Alexander McQueen.

Prince George, 3, and his sister Princess Charlotte, 2, stole the show as the family walked off the plane and onto the runway in Warsaw. She wore a bright red printed dress with white socks and matching red Mary Janes, a striking contrast to her mother's all-white ensemble. When the family of four disembarked, George took a moment to hold his father's hand at the plane door and carefully take in the crowd of fans.

Their five-day tour of the two European countries is at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Kate's new short hair, dubbed the "Kob" meaning the "Kate bob", was styled into an elegant chignon.

'The Duke and Duchess are very much looking forward to this tour and are delighted with the exciting and varied programme that has been put together for it, ' a Kensington Palace spokesperson has said.

The Duchess, who was accompanied by Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, arrived in Warsaw on Monday 17 July.

E! News wrote that once the initial greetings were over, Kate Middleton and Prince William, with the two children, were escorted to Belweder Palace, their base for the time they spend in Poland.

The royal children flew in a private chartered plane with William and Kate, and the couple's entourage, before touching down at Warsaw Chopin Airport. They also will pay a visit to Gdansk to see the shipyards and speak with actors at the Shakespeare Theater. Then onto Germany where they will visit the Brandenburg Gate, the city's Holocaust museum and memorial, and have meet with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, among other things.

William and Kate will take to the waters of the River Neckar to cox opposing rowing teams in a race with crews drawn from Cambridge and Heidelberg.
