Jury selection begins on Monday for Taylor Swift's court case, continuing the 27-year-old singer's legal battle with Denver, Colorado, radio host David Mueller, that's been going on since 2015.

He and Melcher were then escorted out of the Pepsi Center and he was sacked two days later, after Swift's radio promotions manager Frank Bell told Mueller's bosses about the incident. Right after the incident, a member of Swift's team confronted him, and Mueller and his girlfriend, who was also in attendance, were escorted off the premises.

In depositions that came out past year, Swift said she felt "violated" by the alleged incident.

Entertainment news outlet TMZ obtained and published the photo, which has since been sealed by the court.

Swift counter-sued the following month for assault and battery, saying in her complaint that he "took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek".

Mueller denies inappropriately touching Swift and is suing Swift for $3 million.

Swift countersued, alleging sexual assault by Mueller.

But she does have to be present for the rest of the trial and is expected to testify.

At the time of the alleged incident, Mueller was a radio DJ for country music station 98.5 KYGO in Denver on the Ryno and Jackson morning show, going by "Jackson". Swift in a way she found inappropriate, it was inadvertent as he rushed to get into position for the photograph, which, though inconclusive, is expected to be key evidence at the trial.

It seems unlikely that either side in the case is in the mood to settle, meaning the jury trial considering both sides' lawsuits should go ahead this week, and could last for two weeks.

According to the Denver Post, radio host Mueller was invited to a meet-and-greet with Swift during the Denver stop of her Red tour.

- Andrea Swift, the singer's mother, will testify about the decision to contact Mueller's boss and not call the police.

Baldridge, meanwhile, has said Swift is upset by Mueller's claim that 'for some reason she might have some incentive to actually fabricate this story'.

This is a sexual assault trial, period, because it involves a woman's claim she was groped by someone else against her will. Once the meet-and-greet was over, she says she alerted her mother as well as others on her team about what had allegedly happened. Swift might appear. The presiding judge, William J. Martínez, has warned anyone who hopes to attend to refrain from wearing clothing "bearing the name or likeness of any of the parties".
