Friday weather: Air quality alert in effect Friday morning

Again there is a very small chance of an afternoon shower, though the vast majority of us stay dry. Temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Rain chances and cooler temps stick around through the middle of next week. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies with a high of 76. Low: 73. High: 95.

Tuesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Friday Night will be mostly cloudy with a couple mainly evening showers and storms possible. Lows in the low 70s.

There will also be a chance of rain each day from Friday through Monday.

The Weather Prediction Center is projecting more than 3 inches in the Wichita metropolitan area through Saturday, with more than 4 inches in northern Oklahoma.
