Furthermore, nominated artists for the "Video of the Year" category include Bruno Mars for "24K Magic", Alessia Cara for "Scars To Your Beautiful", DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller for "Wild Thoughts", and The Weeknd for "Reminder". After debuting her new single "Look What You Made Me Do" late Thursday, the singer previewed the music video on Good Morning America Friday.

Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar and Ariana Grande are among those up for the best artist award, which replaces the best female and best male video groups. "That's not happening as far as [I know]", he told Entertainment Tonight. The MTV VMAs have had their share of beefs in the past, too, so we might get to see a little harmless drama, too. And then there's her outsized mezzo-soprano, which is variously described as "raspy", "husky", "soulful" and "prodigious".
