Pak-based terror groups named in BRICS declaration for first time

"PM Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping to hold (a) two-sided meeting at 12:30 pm (10 am IST) tomorrow in Xiamen", MEA authorities told PTI.

Prior on Monday, China had likewise specified the meeting between the two pioneers yet didn't specify if the Doklam standoff will be talked about.

Host country China has invited five guest countries for the summit under its BRICS plus approach.

Last year Indian officials at the BRICSs Summit in Goa had first mooted the idea of having such an agency for the BRICS grouping which could solve the obstructions for the emerging market economies dominated by S&P, Moody's and Fitch.

"We strongly condemn terrorist attacks resulting in death to innocent Afghan nationals". In the last two years, China has stonewalled efforts by India and later by the USA, the United Kingdom and France to declare Azhar as a terrorist, stating that there is no consensus on the issue.

Leaders of five members of BRICS countries - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - participated in the session of the summit.

The Prime Minister added that, "Our "no strings attached" model of cooperation is driven purely by the requirements and priorities of our partner countries".

Not only this, Chinese president Xi Jinping supported Modi's words that action should be taken against Pakistan if it supported or backed any terror groups, including Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), and The Haqqani Network among others.
