Another source from the INPT claimed that they have received proposal from Congress to form alliance, but the party rejected the proposal due to the party's bad situation and eyeing the growth of BJP.

Both parties had attended a meeting of the anti-Congress platform called the Northeast Democratic Alliance (NEDA), which has been floated by the BJP. "I and all of you know who will take over the Congress after Sonia Gandhi".

Shah is on a three-day visit to Odisha to galvanise the party workers for the 2019 assembly polls. The policy only applies to vacations booked directly through Disney, and it does not apply to dining or special events. Seven thousand National Guard members will be reporting for duty Friday morning to help with preparation efforts.

To buttress his point, Shah asked whether anyone from the audience could name the next BJP chief. The party believes it is on track to take on the ruling BJD, which has been in power since 2000 under Naveen Patnaik, and could win 120 of the 147 Assembly seats. Way ahead of the elections BJP has begun with its campaign, with Amit Shah personally visiting all the states and holding meetings with the party workers and discuss the election strategy.

BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra said the people of Odisha had now "developed doubts" in the Chief Minister over his "non-performance".

To defend the country we can go to any limit just like we conducted Surgical Strikes, added Shah. "The people associated closely with the government are involved in the multi-crore chit fund scam, mining scam and others", he said at a media conference here. The irony is the chief minister has failed to learn Odia in such a long period, he said.
