Will Alexis Sanchez take this good advice on Arsenal career?

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez was hoping to secure a deadline day move to Manchester City, but it did not pan out in the end as the Gunners failed to sign a replacement in Thomas Lemar.

Alexis held out all summer for the move, refusing a new deal at Arsenal and snubbing the advances of European giants Bayern Munich and PSG, waiting for City to make their move.

Bravo and Sanchez had been preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay in Santiago when Arsenal accepted a £60 million City offer for the forward.

"He went from happiness to bitterness in a few hours, although it's all in the past now".

"When we started to speak with Arsenal in the last days [of the transfer window], because before it was not possible, they wanted to make a swap with Raz [Sterling]", Guardiola said.

We take a look at whether Manchester City should go back in for Sanchez in the January transfer window. We would have loved to have him here, but the market gives you these time limits and the rush is not good.

Pedro Obiang's lucky strike buys Slaven Bilic time
Huddersfield Town, on the other hand, have surprised for all the right reasons. The silver lining is that the Yorkshire club are still yet to concede a goal.

Sanchez's contract runs out at the end of the season and Guardiola was asked about a potential transfer in January.

"Not one per cent chance we will swap Raz because I trust a lot in him".

He replaced Ederson midway through the first half after the Brazilian was forced off following Sadio Mane's boot to the face - for which the Senegalese ace was red carded. "You can easily avoid putting your foot in somebody's face so you don't do them damage", said Bravo.

It will be short but the next (game) he will not be able to play. I don't know what will happen in the winter time.

"I'm calm, all of us here are completely ready and we have a competitive mentality". I know him from Barcelona.
