Legendary Actor Harry Dean Stanton Dies At 91

Harry Dean Stanton, the veteran American actor who ballasted generations of independent and cult films, has died aged 91. "Impossible to cover his legacy in brief but here's a few favs: "Alien", "Paris Texas", "Repo Man"," in his tribute to the late great actor.

Stanton passed away at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, TMZ reported.

He was also a musician, singing and playing guitar with The Harry Dean Stanton Band.

Lynch, a continuous teammate with the performer in ventures like "Wild on the most fundamental level" and the current reboot of "Twin Peaks", said in an announcement after Stanton's demise that "Everybody cherished him".

Previously, Stanton praised actor Jack Nicholson for giving him the acting advice which helped progress his career.

Entertainment Weekly revealed that Stanton never got married, but in a 2006 interview, he was asked if he had children.

"Repo Man", released that same year, became another signature film: Stanton starred as the world-weary boss of an auto repossession firm who instructs Estevez in the tricks of the hazardous trade. There was a great one.
