The NY Times reports that previous year, a bus owned by Dahlia overturned while traveling to a CT casino, injuring 30 people.

Three people were killed and about 15 people injured in collision of tourist and passenger buses in NY.

On Monday morning, a private tour bus was traveling east on Northern Boulevard, according to NYPD Assistant Chief Juanita Holmes.

The city bus had been making a right turn when it was struck by the other bus, according to spokesman for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Kevin Ortiz.

An NYPD spokesperson said the private bus driver was killed as a result of the crash, one pedestrian on the sidewalk was killed, and one bus passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gregory Liljefor, 55, of Queens, was a passenger on the MTA bus; Henry Wdowiak, 68, of Queens, was walking on the sidewalk; and Raymond Mong, 49, of Queens, was behind the wheel of the charter bus, police said.

Sources said bankruptcy is among the options but a final decision has not been made. Shares of Mattel closed at $14.87, down 6.2 percent for the day.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

"These buses spun around. That requires an enormous amount of speed", Lhota said.

Sixteen other people are hurt, some seriously, in the crash at 6:15 a.m. Monday. "It's hard to compare it to anything I've ever seen, the sheer destruction".

Heavy traffic delays were expected in the area as authorities canvassed the scene. De Blasio said the impact on the building was "very, very substantial".

A representative for Dahlia Travel and Tours could not immediately be reached for comment.
