Beginning this weekend, every passenger will be able to send and receive text messages on all popular messaging apps-including iMessage, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger-on the airplanes that provide Internet access without having to shell out any extra bucks for it.

Starting Sunday, Delta passengers will be able to text for free on all of their flights worldwide. You won't have to pay to get on and messaging will be free, ' he said. You can access it through Delta's WiFi portal page.
