Lineup advice for AL Wild Card Game

The Twins don't have a lot behind Ervin Santana and Jose Berrios, so the strong outing could be enough to win him a spot in October. Santana won 16 games this year with a 3.28 earned run average in 33 starts. Judge led the AL and shattered the rookie record with his 52 home runs.

Minnesota and NY are both in the playoffs after successful rebuilds, with Miguel Sano and Byron Buxton powering the Twins and Aaron Judge emerging as an MVP contender with the Yankees. They have the best bullpen in the game and one of the best young starting pitchers in 23-year old RHP Luis Severino, who will start for the Yankees tonight. And this winner-take-all game is the flawless opportunity for the 2017 Twins to break free from the shackles of history and make some of their own.

The Twins have one game to make a statement, one win to change history and enough confidence not to be burdened by it all.

Perhaps most importantly in an elimination game, the Yankees have the better bullpen.

OJ Simpson Goes Free; Midnight Timing "To Ensure Public Safety"
Florida's attorney general, Pam Bondi , has urged her state's Corrections Department to object to Simpson's return. He said the timing of Simpson's release is up to authorities and he doesn't know when it will be.

"There's two teams that are going to fight like heck tomorrow, and one of us is not going to move on, but I really like the way we've been playing".

Minnesota Twins manager Paul Molitor said that first/third baseman Miguel Sano is still dealing with discomfort in his injured left shin.

Slugging catcher Gary Sanchez was on the Yankees' 2015 AL wild card roster, but did not play when Houston lefty Dallas Keuchel blanked the Yanks, 3-0, at the Stadium - the last postseason appearance for Girardi's club. "I thought we'd come back to the World Series every year", said Gardner, one of a handful of current Yankees on their last world championship team. Just trying to be positive and just create good things for me and for our team. 140 of those 241 were hit at home (58%). Former No. 2 overall pick Byron Buxton finally broke through as a potential star with 16 home runs and 29 steals. Anything is possible. But if their respective final months were any indication, the deck is stacked heavily toward the Yankees. The Indians will present a far different challenge. Led by fireballing closer Alrodis Chapman, who picked up 22 saves and Dellin Betances, striking out 100 batters for the fourth straight year, the Yankees also feature depth with set-up men David Robertson and Tommy Kahnle as well as the versatile Adam Warren. I'll take Minnesota as a value play.

"He's a pitcher that does have a lot of experience", Girardi said. "Whether he's going to start or not, I still haven't inked it in yet, but I'm waiting to have him on the bench". The Minnesota Twins are a young team full of players who don't know about the postseason and that might be just what they need. Luis Severino pitches for the Yanks - he's 23, he averaged 97.6 miles per hour on his fastball, tops among qualified starters.
