Instagram's Stories feature is pretty popular.

Avid users of Facebook and Instagram might see a new feature in the apps soon.

Facebook has also confirmed that the feature is being officially rolled out for everyone around the world.

Previously, if you wanted to share the same Story to Instagram and Facebook, you'd have had to record it on one of the apps, save the post and then publish it twice. "We are always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you", a Facebook spokesperson told the publication. Facebook has confirmed that Instagram users can show share their Stories directly on Facebook easily. The new feature allows you to add a two-answer poll on top of your Stories that your friends and followers can answer with a tap, just like adding the location sticker. It could also help Facebook Stories gain traction. After all, no one uses Facebook Story. Facebook's own Stories feature has been slower to take off.

Instagram's aim is to offer a fun, interactive tool that lets users ask friends and followers simple questions-about what they should wear, for example ("Should I wear this dress or these jeans?") or what to eat ("Should I finish this leftover pizza or cook some pasta?").

Many called the introduction of Stories to the newsfeed a last-ditch effort to get the feature to catch on with Facebook users.
