Seasonally adjusted job estimates indicate total Kansas nonfarm jobs increased by 5,000 from August.

Workforce Development Secretary Ray Allen says the 2.5 million people working in private sector jobs in September is an alltime high. The mining and logging sector, which houses the oil and gas industry, added 100 jobs, marking a 1,500 over-the-year change in Weld.

Nebraska's unemployment rate of 2.8 percent in September was the same as in August, but it was down considerably from September 2016, when the rate was 3.3 percent. The New England unemployment rate averaged 3.9 percent. The largest decrease was in professional & business services, which fell 2,700 from a record high in August. The biggest job losses were in the private service-providing sector, which lost 700 jobs over the month, but still is 1,300 more than past year.

We can't really speculate on that because we don't really know", said Tory in an appearance on Metro Morning on Friday. In Tucson, a 21 foot Saguaro was given to Amazon to spike their chances of getting chosen.

As of the prior month's preliminary data, the Burlington-South Burlington Metropolitan NECTA was tied for the thirteenth lowest unemployment rate in the country for all metropolitan areas.

That number is also below the September 2016 rate of 9.1 percent unemployment.

Wisconsin's most recent U-6 unemployment rate, which includes those included in the official rate plus those marginally attached to the workforce or employed part-time for economic reasons, was 7.2 percent for the 12 month ending in June.
