Lonzo Ball's National Basketball Association debut was not good.

Versus the Suns, Ball scored a game-high of 29 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out nine assists, coming up short of a triple-double.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball managed just three points and four assists while being hounded by Clippers defender Patrick Beverley in his National Basketball Association debut Thursday, and Ball's actual on-court performance was overshadowed by his father's decision to blast Beverley after the game.

The Lonzo Ball era begins with just three points, 1-for-6 shooting, nine rebounds and four assists.
