We can not say we are totally surprised, as Samsung is the only leading Android OEM that is yet to say anything regarding the Oreo update.

Samsung will launch a new tablet called the Galaxy Tab A on November 1st, giving consumers a new 8-inch option that, among other things, offers all-day battery life.

Some of these devices include HMD Global's Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3, HTC's U11, U10, and U Ultra, as well as the Moto G5, G5S, G5S Plus, G4 Plus, X4, Z, Z Play and Z Force. Earlier this week, Samsung Turkey confirmed plans to release Android 8.0 Oreo starting in early 2018 and today the company appears to have confirmed the rumored Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 Oreo beta. To underscore that point, Samsung has packed some kid-friendly content onto the tablet, including a dedicated Kids Mode with access to 5,000 exclusive videos and games.

According to GSMArena, there will be 7500 spots for each device and only T-Mobile and Sprint users will be allowed to enroll for this Android Oreo Beta update with respect to the above screenshot. Other companies such as LG, HTC, Huawei, and HMD Global are expected to begin rolling out the Oreo update for their smartphones before the end of the year. Those versions are G950FXXE1ZQI7 and G955FXXU1ZQI7. Samsung is one of them.

Some believe that the South Korean giant will keep the same design line from Galaxy Note 8. The news comes from a leakster who allegedly got a heads-up email from Samsung.

That said, Samsung and its carrier partners usually extend bug fixes and security patches to devices well beyond the two-year mark.
