Broncos look to stop losing streak with possible QB change

Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph remains noncommittal on his starting quarterback for Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"If something is done guys I want to meet with the players first, meaning the quarterbacks and the coaches and with our football team before we put anything out there publicly so nothing is going to happen tonight by no means", noted Joseph. We ran the ball for 177 [yards] and the pass [protection] was better, but it all falls back to turning the ball over five times.

"That's insane. You can't win turning the ball over five times".

Osweiler was signed by the Broncos just before the season after Lynch suffered a right (throwing) shoulder injury in a preseason win over the Green Bay Packers.

"Our defense played winning football", Joseph lamented after his team's third consecutive loss.

Trevor Siemian is struggling, especially on the road.

Netflix cancels House of Cards amid sexual misconduct claims against Kevin Spacey
Spacey, who was artistic director of the theatre from 2004 to 2015, is accused of trying to seduce a 14-year-old actor in 1986. Rapp made the allegation in an interview with BuzzFeed News that was published Sunday.

Siemian is averaging 14.8 FanDuel points per game this season while completing 152-of-247 passes for 1,669 yards with 9 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. "Obviously Paxton is still healing up", stated Joseph. Osweiler spent the first four seasons of his career in Denver before bolting to the Houston Texans in free agency in March 2016.

Asked whether Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy has protected Siemian well enough recently, Joseph said: "I think he has, but I've said all along we can coach and play better". "But again, when you lose three in a row and how we lost". He has also been beaten out by Siemian for the starting job in each of the last two preseasons, which raises its own set of questions.

"At the end of the day it's about results", declared Joseph.

"That's not my job, my job is to play quarterback and play the best I can, " Siemian said when asked if he was anxious Joseph would make a change.

"That's his job as the quarterback".
