Tammy Abraham, Joe Gomez and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all been named in Gareth Southgate's latest England squad for the upcoming double-header against Brazil and Germany at Wembley.

Despite holding talks with officials representing the Super Eagles, Abraham has opted to pledge his global allegiance to England who has he played for at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level.

"I think he will cope well with being in the England senior squad because he is a confident young man", Clement told the Swansea official website.

Gomez, meanwhile, has rebounded well since returning from a 15-month layoff with an ACL injury in January, starting seven times for Liverpool in the Premier League this season.

England face Germany on Friday November 10 at the national stadium, before welcoming Brazil to the same venue four days later. The 25-year-old has seen just 13 minutes of Premier League action this season and is running out of time to convince Southgate he should play a part next summer.

City lands major college game
This will be the community's first national championship game under the College Football Playoff, but its 21st overall. The BCS National Championship Game was played in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl Stadium in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014.

Chelsea loanee Abraham, 20, is only the second Swansea player after Jonjo Shelvy to be capped by England. I think it's a role he can perform left or right very well.

Manchester United's Ashley Young, who last played for his country in September 2013, was recalled for his impressive run under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

But there was no room for Manchester United centre-back Chris Smalling, Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere or the Liverpool pair of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge.

"We're in a position now where we've qualified for the World Cup and we always wanted to look at the team and how we want it to evolve", Southgate said in a statement.
