Why Gal Gadot may not be part of 'Wonder Woman 2'

"Wonder Woman" has been a critical and box office success, garnering more than $821 million worldwide. Warner Bros has also announced that they won't renew their co-financing deal with Ratner's production banner and he would be removed from any upcoming projects.

Reps for Gadot and Ratner did not comment.

"She's tough and stands by her principles", a source told PageSix.

Warner Bros. has moved the film up to November 1, 2019 from its previous date of December 13, 2019.

Gal Gadot believes Princess Diana had a lot in common with her onscreen avatar of Wonder Woman.

According to Refinery 29, Gadot didn't attend a dinner that was meant to honor Ratner and present him with an award, just before the news hit.

A representative for Warner Bros. said the report was false.
