The dad of two will portray Colonel Cathcart, a group commander for the U.S. Army who will do anything to please his superiors, according to Variety.

Catch-22 follows a USA soldier named Yossarian during World War Two, who is infuriated that his own army keeps raising the number of missions that a soldier must complete to be released from duty.

Instead, she's going to drink a disgusting smoothie showing that this family will really do anything for each other. In the promo Khloe is seen taking on her mum, Kris Jenner , in a baking competition, while wearing a baggy apron.

George Clooney and a Catch 22 miniseries seem like a match made in farcical, black comedy heaven.

Clooney will play Col. Cathcart, the role initially played by Balsam in the Nichols feature. His TV credits include Memphis Beat, Roseanne, Sisters and The Facts of Life. He is in a tough situation because he hates embarking on risky combat missions but can't be relieved from duty because of the frustrating Catch-22 rule. On the big-screen, Clooney's work includes an Oscar win for his supporting turn in Syriana and as part of the cast of best picture victor Argo.

Clooney and Heslov are repped by CAA. Davies is also repped by EML Entertainment. The Academy Award-winning actor is set to direct and star in a new limited series, his first since leaving ER in 2009.
