Washington announced Saturday that Wall underwent an MRI due to knee discomfort. According to the team, Wall suffered a "knee-to-knee contact" injury vs. the Mavericks way back on November 7th. He will receive platelet-rich plasma and viscosupplementation injections to reduce the inflammation.

Certainly, the injury to Wall is a monumental loss for the Wizards basketball team.

Wall is averaging 20.3 points, 9.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds in 34.4 minutes per game for Washington this season.

Wall sat out Sunday's 100-91 loss at Toronto, but returned to play his usual starting role in matchups against Milwaukee and Charlotte. "We just wanted to make sure we did some treatments and see how he feels".
