Kelly, the 17th head coach in the school's history, is expected to be introduced to the public at UCLA on Monday.

Florida administrators met with Kelly on Sunday in New Hampshire and remained in contact with him earlier this week, but no deal was forthcoming between the two. He was named the Associated Press Coach of the Year in 2010. Frost's undefeated UCF team is playing South Florida on Friday afternoon for the title in the American Athletic Conference East Division. After all, few have done a more impressive job in turning a program into a national power than Kelly executed at OR and, even with two relatively unsuccessful NFL stints, there is every reason to believe that he will be a quality option at the college level again. He could still remain in an analyst role at ESPN, where he has spent this season. It reportedly came down to the Bruins and Florida for Kelly's services, but ultimately, he made a decision to stay on the west coast.

The former Oregon, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers head coach has agreed to take charge of UCLA's football program, The Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch reported Saturday, citing sources with knowledge of the situation. "We got a good win last night and heading to a bowl game, so things are getting better here for the UCLA football program".
