Jessica Jones season 2 premiere date revealed

Fans that witnessed the first season will recall seeing Killgrave's neck being snapped, so seeing the character right next to Jessica is quite interesting.

Netflix just dropped the new trailer for Jessica Jones season 2, and they managed to slip in a pretty iconic line from Marvel Comics lore. If not, then Jessica may have a new big bad to contend with this season. All series premiered only on Netflix.

Season 2 find her beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave (David Tennant, who will be back for one episode).

Since the first season of Jessica Jones ended up winning a Peabody Award, the anticipation is high to see what Marvel will deliver for her second season.

In an interview with EW, Ritter and Melissa Rosenberg, the showrunner of the series, the pair agreed the long break gave the writers time to break down the story and really go deep into the character. Personally, I'm hoping Luke Cage is mentioned. For all of the diehard fans who start binging the second its available, this will simply move up the binging schedule, while giving casual fans more time to watch it all during its first weekend.

The cast of Jessica Jones also includes returning cast members Rachael Taylor (as Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (as Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (as Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez, among others. In fact, not a lot of information in regards to the plot for season 2 has yet been given, but we can bet that it'll be just as thrilling as the show has ever been. And although subjects such as these are nothing new for the Netflix original, new details about Season 2 indicate that things will get much more emotional for the character in the Marvel drama's return, according to details shared by Entertainment Weekly.
