Last week it was discovered that there was a vulnerability in iOS 11's HomeKit, in which apparently when exploited, it would allow the hacker to gain control of HomeKit-connected devices. It's a serious threat to security, which is why Apple immediately issued a server side fix that didn't require an update.

The iOS 11.2.1 over-the-air update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices by applying these simple steps. Once downloaded, the update will restart the Apple TV once. In its release notes, Apple says, "iOS 11.2.1 fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app". Still it is best to keep the iOS updated with the latest software for security reasons.

Apple's latest iOS 11 has been one of the buggiest updates to hit the iPhone and iPad. The new update also resolves some of the issues from the major update in iOS 11.2 which was released a couple of weeks ago.

Giroud's late strike earns Arsenal a draw at Southampton
The Frenchman scored in the 88th minute to rescue a point for Arsenal in their 1-1 draw with Southampton on Sunday. But the Gunners will feel it was two points dropped in their pursuit of a top-four spot.

The update is about 57.6 MB in size and is now available to all compatible iOS devices including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and other Apple devices starting from iPhone 5S or newer, 5th Gen iPad or newer and iPod touch 6th Gen. Apple iOS users who have not installed updates from the last few pushed out by the company might find the size of this current update to be slightly larger. For now, this particular iOS 11.2 bug only affects users residing in the United States, given that the Apple Pay Cash feature is only accessible to limited areas.

Within hours of installing the new update, the Apple Support Twitter account was inundated with complaints about the atrocious battery life.
