Marvel looks to have added She's Gotta Have It star DeWanda Wise as a co-star in Captain Marvel.

So far, there is no word on what role Wise has been cast for.

The Pasadena, Calif. -based actress, who graduated from Atholton High School in Columbia, will co-star alongside "Room" actress Brie Larson in the Anna Boden-Ryan Fleck-directed superhero flick.

"Captain Marvel" is expected to arrive in theatres on March 8, 2019.

FA question Arsenal boss Wenger about Chelsea comments
"I think it is a pity because when you have so many chances to score you must win the game", said Conte. It seems inevitable that Sanchez will go, with Manchester City his preferred destination.

Less than a year later, however, Amazing Spider-Man Annual #16 came out. Wise is playing Monica Rambeau, the third character (in Marvel Comics, we're not talking about the fella who says "Shazam" over at DC) to hold the name? She proved so popular, she ended up becoming the leader of the team towards the end of Stern's run. The story of Captain Marvel focuses on Marvel character Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot whose DNA is fused with that of an alien during an accident. Calling herself Ms. Marvel, she established herself as one of Marvel's most powerful and prominent heroes as a sole heroine and as a member of the Avengers. We've got the always deliciously villainous Ben Mendelsohn as, of course, a villain (possibly a Skrull). She is now fresh off a role in She's Gotta Have It on Netflix, but no word on who she is playing is available at this time.

"Captain Marvel" will be her first major motion picture.

We're already getting Carol Danvers' origin in this movie, so it wouldn't be a stretch for someone else to get powers by the film's end, right?

DeWanda Wise is about to have it all.
