Chelsea have completed the £15m signing of Ross Barkley from Everton.

In what seems to be a big bargain, keeping in consideration the current football transfer market trends, Chelsea on Friday secured the signing of England worldwide Ross Barkley from Everton for a sum of 15 million pounds.

Toffees chief Allardyce has wished the 24-year-old well and is relieved the speculation can now stop.

According to the Telegraph, Barkley has been impressed by Chelsea's persistence to procure his signature and now has no hesitations to move to Stamford Bridge.

Former England coach Steve McClaren is backing Ross Barkley for success with new club Chelsea.

"I'm overwhelmed, I'm looking forward to it and I'm really excited to get started", said Barkley, who has won 22 England caps. "He is very strong physically and has good technique", Conte added. But that's not the case anymore, with Spurs apparently wanting to wait until the end of the season to sign him for free, while Chelsea ready to spend money now.

Paul Joyce of The Times reports that the player is closing in on a move to the current Premier League champions for a fee believed to be £15 million. Ross Barkley is a Chelsea player, good luck to him.

Raiders make it official: Jon Gruden is their new coach
The Raiders traded Gruden to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , where he won a Super Bowl in his first season in February 2003. Gruden's $100 million contract with the Raiders is the largest in National Football League history.

"For sure we're talking about a young player, an English player", said Conte.

"I think it's a great move for Chelsea and I think it's a great move for him", he told Sky Sports show The Debate.

Conte urged caution over expectations for Barkley.

"I think this is a good opportunity for the club to buy this player".

'He had a bad injury & has not played for seven months. The club try to do the best for this team, to try to improve this team'.

Eden Hazard, who was likely to be rested anyway, is a doubt after being kicked on the calf in Wednesday's draw at Arsenal.
