Nvidia has unveiled a new "technology" called Big Format Gaming Displays (BFGDs) during its CES 2018 presentation earlier today.

Another reason to consider the Predator as a living room rather than desk monitor is the fact Acer built-in Nvidia Shield hardware.

One of the great feature, G-Sync is also included in this monitor. The new displays are specially targetting the gamers with low latency rate. On top of all that, the BFGD includes Nvidia's own proprietary Shield streaming service right out of the box. Apart from the G-Sync technology, it features a [email protected] Hz resolution, HDR capabilities and SHIELD TV integration with Google Assistant support.

Which Nvidia are calling Big Format Gaming Displays or BFGDs. And yes, they will be 4K with full-array direct backlighting, 1,000-nit peak luminance for decent HDR performance, and DCI-P3 color gamut. The Nvidia BFGD looks to combine the benefits of those monitors on a TV-sized screen.

The first BFGDs are on display at CES this week, but unfortunately we don't know exactly when you'll be able to get your hands on them-or, more importantly, how much they'll cost.

Nvidia has not revealed prices or release dates for any of these models.
