The Astros are thinking about Gerrit Cole or Yu Darvish

Per Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan, there is "no deal" in place for Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Gerrit Cole to be traded to the Houston Astros.

"We have talked to several teams about possible trades", Luhnow told the Houston Chronicle.

It was not immediately clear who the Astros will trade for Cole. Cole completes a very strong rotation behind Justin Verlander and provides insurance should Dallas Keuchel and Lance McCullers struggle with injuries again next season.

The Astros would hope that Cole bounces back to his form from 2013-2016 when he had a 3.23 ERA over 579 1/3 innings of work.

Numerous illegal hand grenades found in Sweden are being imported from former Yugoslav nations, he said. Officers say a 60-year-old man was hurt after picking up an object from the ground which exploded.

Cole turned heads in 2015 when he made the All-Star Game and posted sparkling numbers. He finished with a career-worst 4.26 ERA in 2017 and career-worst 1.44 WHIP in 2016.

The Yankees now must look elsewhere to add another arm to their rotation.

The report comes after weeks of speculation that Cole could be headed to the New York Yankees.

The Yankees' rotation now includes Luis Severino, Masahiro Tanaka, Sonny Gray and CC Sabathia.
