The biggest news is that Dark Souls: Remastered is heading to the Nintendo Switch on May 25. Naturally, and given the bad initial state of the PC version of the first Dark Souls game, a lot of PC gamers wondered whether this would be a free upgrade for them.

This is considered one of the better Wii U games, so it's good to see a port of it coming to Switch on May 4.

One of our sources indicates that Bandai Namco plans to bring all three Dark Souls games to Switch eventually, but the oft-rumoured "trilogy" bundle is not how this will be happening - yet. DARK SOULS: REMASTERED includes the Artorias of the Abyss DLC, as well as improved framerate and resolution from the original DARK SOULS game for an exhilarating return to Lordran. Are you excited for the Dark Souls Remaster? Many will also be wondering what all of these recent Dark Souls developments could mean for the future of the franchise.

Bandai Namco has announced that Dark Souls: Remastered will be released for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch on May 25th. New content is coming to Super Mario Odyssey too! Few games manage to instill the kind of loyalty in people that Dark Souls has. The box set will include all three Dark Souls games, each respective game's soundtrack, framed art, Dark Souls' themed bookends, and three dictionaries containing the entirety of Dark Souls' item list. The Switch is getting new titles in the guise of Mario Tennis Aces, set for a spring launch, Kirby Star Allies, which will land 16 March, and brawler SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy, slated for the summer. The game also doesn't explain where the player should go.

It looks like Nintendo Switch will have another stellar year.
