UCF challenges Alabama to game with Tuscaloosa billboard

A group of fans is trying to convince Alabama to schedule a home-and-home with UCF, and they're doing so with a billboard in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama has lost five games in the last four seasons, so UCF and its fans might want to be careful what they wish for.

UCF celebrated its "national championship" with a parade on Sunday at World Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

The Knights finished their season 13-0, sealing perfection with a 34-27 win against Auburn on January 1 in the Peach Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

MacKinnon back to All-Star Game
The NHL revealed Wednesday that Patrick Kane was the lone Blackhawks representative named to the 2018 All-Star team. Staal, who is in his 15th NHL season, will represent the Minnesota Wild at the NHL All-Star game in Tampa Bay.

"We felt like this year's team could run with anyone in the country, and the Peach Bowl win [over Auburn] proved that", explained ringleader Sean Barakett, who says he contributed $100 toward the campaign.

But the Knights beat both Auburn and Georgia this season.

UCF fans bought a billboard advertisement in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, congratulating the University of Alabama for winning the national championship on Monday and asking if the Crimson Tide would like to play their team. The billboard read: "Congratulations Alabama!" In addition to the highest season-ending ranking, it was the highest ranking UCF has ever achieved in the AP Top 25.

But before you dismiss UCF and Bama outright, believe it or not, they've played before. UCF finished the season 13-0 and were ranked 6th in the final College Football Playoff Standings. A future meeting of the teams would do nothing to change the outcome of 2017, but it'd still be fun, and fun things are good.
