The Spanish club agreed personal terms with Coquelin yesterday and moved onto agree on a £10.5m fee with Arsenal.

Having made just seven Premier League starts for Arsene Wenger's side this term, it is a decision Coquelin admits might not have been the right one.

And he has suggested the Gunners already have a readymade replacement for the Frenchman in the squad in the form of Ainsley Maitland-Niles. The 20-year-old has been a regular in that position but Wenger believes his future lies in midfield where he will be able to establish himself further. He couldn't play [for Arsenal] for some reason He went from, I remember my first game was at Man City and I called him the police officer or something like that because he was shielding everything.

Cancelo feels he hasn't been getting sufficient game time which could affect his chances of playing at the World Cup and he wants to return to Spain with Los Che also wanting him back.

A future meeting of the teams would do nothing to change the outcome of 2017, but it'd still be fun, and fun things are good. Alabama has lost five games in the last four seasons, so UCF and its fans might want to be careful what they wish for.

"After that, we will see".

"He's a defensive midfielder basically and what he's doing at the moment will help him as well to develop as a player because he plays in a different position".

'I think I was looking at it on TV yesterday, and they were saying who Arsenal can sign. At the moment we have Monreal and Kolasinac injured and they will come back.

Maitland-Niles has been backed to replace Coquelin.
